426 Day 26 of a 40-Day Practice

MY MISSION STATEMENT - I am devoted, dedicated, committed to experiencing Your Presence, Father consciously, consistently within me and everywhere present. I want to know, to realize, to live for Your Will for me, empowered by Your loving grace. My mission in now clear, I need, I want to share all I am given with whomever You Will, Father. I look to You as my only Source to provide me with everyone and everything it takes to carry out the Mission You gave me. Thank You.

Enlighten = to give spiritual or intellectual insight - Free from illusion or false belief.

What a great working definition of our Program. Spiritually we awakened, experiencing enlightenment and given Spiritual insight. Enlightened we think with a sober mind in the present moment in the Presence. Sober and enlightened we take loving care of our physical body and our physical world. Emotionally sober our love is temper and expanded through our extending the Six Loves with enlightened wisdom. Enlightened socially we soon become disenchanted with sick relationships and are more likely free from illusions and false belief.

"We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us." (Alcoholics Anonymous page 84) This is one promise that I am so deeply grateful for. Just when I thought my life was beyond hope; I experienced a moment of Spiritual clarity. This promise was enlightenment for my soul’s awakening. At that point I knew that my life did have a purpose and meaning. I began to experience the grace of everyday miracles. I had felt lost, empty, and unsure of myself, of life. I had felt so unloved for such a longtime. When I had my first Spiritual experience I intuitively knew that I had something within me, an invisible means I could not verbalize. I realized it was what I had been searching for as long as I could remember.

I believe that we are likely to become more intuitive and enlightened after having a Spiritual Awakening as the result of working our Program. When the light comes on where does the darkness go?

When have you felt enlightened?

How do you share your enlightenment?
