101 Loose Them

Lou-is reminding himself of his mission statement; I am devoted, dedicated, committed to experiencing Your Presence, Father consciously, consistently within me and everywhere present. I want to know, to realize, to live Your Will for me, Father as my mission, empowered by Your grace.

By living our AA Program, I realized how bounded and limited my old habits of thoughts and feelings, my personal "reality" is. Holding me bound and blocking me from the way of life, I wanted. Those old habits of thoughts and feelings were a big part of the conditions and causes of my alcoholism. When I see another holding their self in bondage and limitation, I now have a solution to share. I silently ask the Boss to extend to that person whatever would be the most fulfilling. I encourage him or her to be willing to take action as guided.

I call this enlightened self-interest for three reasons; first I want to pass on some of what I am given. – Next I pray that all of us find and live our intended purpose for this human condition. By fulfilling our purpose, our Father's will we make this world a much better place to live. In addition, I have learned whatever I give to another, I receive also. So, whatever I want, I need to offer to others. If I want more understanding, love, forgiveness, healing, joy, happiness and freedom, then I am let me give it. I learned that it is wise to extend gifts to others and those gifts compounded for me. I realize that our Higher Power does have a purpose for each individual creation. He crested each of us in a way that we must share with others, so we need each other.

How has someone helped you to be joyous, happy and free?

Would you be willing the next time you see someone bounded in his or her self-made prison, you silently or openly loose him or her?
