325 If I Die Before I Wake

 325 If I Die Before I Wake

Until I experienced an awakening as a result of practicing our AA Program the best I could do, was Spiritual sleeping.

I remember the saying: "If I die before I wake I pray the Lord my soul to take." When I tie this to our Program's Step Twelve; "Having had a Spiritual awakening...," and the more I trust in our Father, the more I realize that each of us is here for His purpose. Fully awake or not, means we are not done until our Father has expressed Himself as He intents through each of us. We may as well relax and enjoy the journey. I am reminded that I still have a few childhood outdated ideas, clutter. Now is the time for another spring cleaning in preparation for my new rebirth or transformation? I don't want clutter or useless ideas getting in the way of my choices or actions. Being free of clutter also releases the energy I'm wasting holding on to it. Our AA Program gives us the tools to dismantle the obstacles connect to our clutter. "Behold, I make all things new." Revelation 21:5 - In Your Presence, Father we are healed. "We already live in a Perfect Universe, but it needs to be mentally seen and spiritually experienced before it can become a part of our everyday life." (The Science of Mind page 274) In other words we need to "…practice these principles in all our affairs." Step Twelve. "It is easy to sit up and take notice; what is difficult is getting up and taking action." (Al Batt) I choose once again to take a stand, to do our Father's will, consciously known or unknown. I am will to trust with an abiding faith in His grace that He has already given me all I need. If it calls for a radical change I pray that I do not resist. Let there be a free flow of love, wisdom and service; not later but now, not elsewhere but here. Let my love be a healing power touching everything into wholeness, my loving service is an extension of Your Love Father. Thank You.

I was thinking about writing about what we may call wasted time. However there is no such thing as wasted time.
