331 The Mystic Path

I speak often about my heart’s desire. I believe that it is my purpose, my mission. That is the individual our Father created me to be. My secret heart’s desire for more than fifty-five years has been to be a true mystic. I have kept this in hiding but living it as I am directed for all these years for a number of reasons. One reason was I question the idea, could it be too good to be true? Yes it is true. The second reason; if others knew what my heart’s desire really was they would judge it and interfere with my mission path. There is very little understanding of the mystic way of life. Although many have or are living the mystic way of life to some degree, are calling it by other names. I was reminded of the mystic path in one of my morning prep work readings; "A mystic is not a mysterious person, but is one who has a deep, inner sense of life and of his unity with the Whole." The Science of Mind page 327 – To the best of my ability and by our Father’s grace I have sought and found deeper levels of life and a more inclusive union with the Whole. My most beloved heroes and heroines are or were mystics. I believe when we have a Spiritual awakening as the results of living the AA Program by practicing its principles in all our affairs we enter onto the mystic path. Our love, our life, our service and our heart’s desire is changed each time we re-work our AA Program. Our understanding of our mystical union will deepen and become Whole, with the Father within each of us doing the works we call life. When we enter the mystic way of life it is not strange and mysterious but a joyful and fulfilling way of loving one another, serving one another. Thy Love be done.

There are no double standards, other than the ones we make up. Come let us forgive one another and love one another. Thy Love be done.
