362 As You Understand

I now realize the wisdom in AA’s suggestion to worship or turn to for help or seek a God or Higher Power of our own understanding. Our Creator is infinite which means for us humans, which are finite; He or She is wholly unknowable. However we must be Divine enough to seek and to ask for help and important enough to receive help guidance and living supplies. When I experienced the realization that my personal "reality" was not Reality, I started looking for a Higher Power that could do for me what I could not. See page 45 Alcoholics Anonymous. I must have had some invisible means within me from birth or before or I would not be. Call it luck, grace or whatever, I choose grace. I believe we have the same Creator, I choose to call Father. I accept my finger does not know my heart but I accept that they are both parts of my body. I cannot identify with or understand a lot of other humans’ purpose, but we are all here for a purpose or we would not be. It is enough for me to seek and find me and my purpose. My experience in the AA Program has introduced me to our Father, to me and many other fingers and hearts. There are many self-made detours from our individual paths, but all lead us Home. I choose to accept and embrace my divinity, such as it is, I am lifted and guided by that invisible means of support. Come let us love one another. Thy Love be done.
