364 New Year’s Resolutions

I don’t want to wait until the New Year to make my resolutions. I make them each morning when I do my prep work for the day; by co-creating my day. Filling my consciousness with things I want instead of what I don’t. By focusing on this day I am less likely to set myself up to fail. I believe in my long-term goal, my heart’s desire given to me long ago. I am committed, dedicated and devoted to do our Father’s will known to me or not. I believe I am given all I need to carry that out, which I choose to call enlightened self-interest. It is important for me to quickly forgive myself when I fail. I have experienced my worse defects transformed into useful asset. I am aware of some of the talents given me needing ongoing upgrades. I am able to use my defects turned into asset daily and I love upgrading my talents as I share the A.A. way of life. The past, the upgrading my talent skills cause me to experience my heart’s desire; being the individual I am created to be. When I am practicing my given purpose I am in a timeless way of life; the past, the present and the future are one in His Presence. Thy Will, Thy Love Be Done.

1. Do you make New Year’s resolutions?

2. Do you tell others about your resolutions?

3. How long do you keep them?

Random Awakening

Al Kohallek asked his sponsor if he heard about the nine ever-day elements of love. Lou-is replied, when I came into the Program so many members of our group were reading a book written a longtime ago. The title was The Greatest Thing in the World, by Henry Drummond (1851 – 1897). He listed what many believed to be the greatest thing or good. In his judgment like Paul’s in 1 Corinthians 13 was love. I will share a little of my experience for each one of these elements of love for I believe our Program is a way of life and that life is love.
