002 Fourth Dimension

 002 Fourth Dimension

"I was soon to be catapulted into what I like to call the fourth dimension of existence." (Alcoholics Anonymous page 8) That was Bill W.’s experience but what about me?

Bill W. said, "I was to know happiness, peace, and usefulness, in a way of life that is incredibly more wonderful as time passes." Lou-is Pazeniton, Al Kohallek’s sponsor, reminded him of the workshop, Understanding A Transformation Cycle. (www.12stepworkbook.org) (Workshop – Transformation).

When Lou-is had gone through a full Spiritual transformation cycle, he could identify with Bill W.’s story. Everything stopped working, he experienced the dark night of the senses. It was only then he stopped fighting and surrendered all to his Higher Power. He soon experienced a new awakening. He felt catapulted into the fourth dimension of existence. Everything started working, only incredibly more wonderful.

That transforming union is a restructuring of consciousness, not just an experience. The fourth dimension is beyond the three-dimensional world, and deeper than words. The transforming union was only a beginning, as great as it was. Lou-is increased his service work; carrying Alcoholics Anonymous’ message, and practiced his awakening in all his affairs, only then it became real.

We cannot earn the restructuring our consciousness it’s done by grace. Blessed, we set out to rewire and rewrite our personal "reality" to express our upgraded world view. AA’s Program gives us the tools to rewire and rewrite the conditions and causes of our alcoholism.

1. Have you experienced the fourth dimension yet?

2. How have you restructured or rewired and rewrote your personal "reality", habits of thought and feelings?
